In East Windsor, the commitment to student success extends far beyond the traditional classroom. Rooted in the district-wide Portrait of the Graduate initiative – a powerful promise that every student will be an informed life-long learner, a self-aware individual, and a responsible citizen ready for college, career, and life – programs like the Educators Rising at East Windsor High School and East Windsor Middle School are actively shaping the future. This inspiring initiative empowers students to explore careers in education.

Educators Rising provides a unique platform for students to gain hands-on experience, develop leadership skills, and learn the intricacies of the teaching profession. From engaging in lesson planning to understanding classroom management techniques, these young individuals are taking meaningful steps towards becoming the educators of tomorrow.

The program boasts enthusiastic participation from students across grade levels. Among the talented middle schoolers involved are Delaney Tepper, Tierney Mehan, Giana Guzie, Lorelai Standish, and Raysalie Deleon. Their early exposure to the world of education lays a strong foundation for future exploration and growth.

At the high school level, a dedicated group of students is diving deeper into the program. These future leaders include Athie Decker, Aubrianna DeSorbo, Thomas Ferrick, Jack Kittredge, Jonathan Macri, Rylee Macsata, Rosaly Nogeurra, and Aislinn Recinos. Their commitment and passion are truly inspiring.
