Find out how to register to vote in Pierce County; school replacement levies on February ballot

On the Feb. 10 ballot, voters will be asked to consider Propositions 1 and 2 from Franklin Pierce Schools. If you haven’t registered yet, there are three ways to register to vote: online, by mail and in person.

The deadline to register online and by mail is Feb. 2. The deadline to register in person is Feb. 10.

Future voters
16- and 17-year-olds can pre-register to vote. Registrants under the age of 18 will have their registrations held until they become eligible to vote.

Two replacement levies impacting all neighborhood schools
Propositions 1 and 2 would maintain safe neighborhood schools where students from every background have access to a high-quality education, technology and academic programs that prepare them for post-secondary success.

Prop. 1, Replacement of Expiring Levy for Educational Programs & Operations, would provide for 15% of day-to-day school operations.

Prop. 2, Replacement of Expiring Levy for Technology, Safety & Capital Projects, would invest in modern, safe, and reliable learning environments.
