Wylie ISD invites families to its annual Kindergarten Roundup on Thursday, April 9, from 4:30-6 p.m. at each elementary campus. This event offers parents the opportunity to enroll their children for the 2026-27 school year and learn about the exciting start to their child’s educational journey in Wylie ISD. Not sure which campus your child will attend? Please view our 2026-27 zoning map and locate your child's campus using your home address.

To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by September 1, 2026.

Kindergarten Roundup Process

Before attending Kindergarten Roundup, parents must complete the online enrollment process:

• Visit the online enrollment webpage.
• Upload the following documents:
  • Birth certificate
  • Social security card
  • Proof of residency (most current utility bill — gas, water, or electric — or closing documents/lease agreement with a utility bill to be sent within 30 days)
  • Parent’s driver's license
  • Immunization records

At the event, parents must bring an original birth certificate or call to schedule a time to bring the document to the school.
