Board of Trustees Approve New Assistant Director of Career and Technology Education

The Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Jack Mansor as Assistant Director of Career and Technology Education (CTE) at its March 23, 2026 meeting. He will assume the role beginning July 1, 2026.

Mr. Mansor currently serves as Assistant Director of Support Services for the district and has 18 years of experience in education. His previous roles include:

  • Principal, River Oaks Middle School (2019-2023)
  • Assistant Principal, Fort Dorchester High School (2016-2019)
  • Instructional Technology Specialist, Rollings Middle School of the Arts (2014-2016)
  • Science Teacher, Gregg Middle School (2009-2014)

A graduate of West Virginia University, Mr. Mansor earned a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies in 2009. He also holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from West Virginia University (2009) and a Master of Education in Administration from The Citadel (2014).

By strengthening partnerships, supporting innovative programs, and maintaining a clear focus on student achievement, we can create experiences that prepare all learners for success beyond graduation.”

District leadership expressed strong confidence in Mansor’s vision and leadership.

“We are excited to have Mr. Mansor leading our CTE efforts,” said Superintendent Chad Daugherty. “He understands the importance of connecting students with real-world opportunities and building strong community partnerships. His leadership will help ensure our students are prepared, confident, and well-equipped for success.”

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Mansor enjoys spending time with his family. He credits his wife and two daughters for their constant encouragement and support, calling them his greatest motivation and inspiration.
