Content Condenser
Condense Content
The Accordion & Tabs component is useful when you have things like FAQs where the visitor typically wants to scan through a list and click on individual entries to access additional information. But that component only offers text areas. While those are flexible, they just don't always meet the needs of the content you want to share.
With Condense Content, you can turn the six most popular components into their own accordions! The heading becomes left-aligned, an arrow appears on the right, and a gray line is added underneath.
To enable the Condenser, in Page Settings, check the Condense Content box to reveal the component types that can be condensed:
- Accordion & Tabs
- Announcements
- Columns
- Document
- Icon Matrix
- Links
Then check the boxes to the left of the ones you want to condense on this page.
This allows you to make it easier for visitors to locate what they are looking for on a page with lots of content by quickly scanning titles. Do not condense every component on every page--that isn't a good user experience. Reserve this for pages where the components have very specific or even predictable content, and ensure that the individual component headings make it obvious what the visitor will see when they click the arrow to expand the component.
