Enrollment

As a public school system, we welcome all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. For specific enrollment information, please contact your child's school. If you need to find out which school your child will attend, please use the School Finder to look up the attendance boundaries for your address.

  • Learn which parents, guardians, caregivers, or authorized adults may enroll a student in school. Review residency, custody, identification, and authorization requirements before beginning the enrollment process to help prevent delays. Additional documentation may be requested based on the student’s living arrangements or family circumstances.

  • Prepare the records and documentation needed to complete student enrollment, including proof of age, residency, immunization history, parent or guardian identification, and previous school records. Requirements may vary by grade level, program, or family situation, so review the complete checklist before submitting your application.

  • Follow our step-by-step guide to enrolling your student, from gathering required documents and completing forms to selecting a school and receiving confirmation. The guide explains each stage of the process, provides helpful tips, and connects families with important resources for a smooth start to the school year.

    Guide to Online Enrollment

  • Q. What documents are required to enroll my child?

Families typically need proof of the student’s age, proof of residency, immunization records, a parent or guardian’s photo identification, and records from the student’s previous school. Additional documents may be required depending on your circumstances.

    Q. How is my child’s school assignment determined?

School assignments are generally based on the student’s primary home address and established attendance boundaries. Grade level, program availability, and transfer approval may also affect placement. Contact the enrollment team to confirm your assigned school.

    Q. Can I enroll my child after the school year has started?

Yes. Eligible students may enroll throughout the school year. Families should complete the enrollment application and provide all required documents as soon as possible. Enrollment staff will help determine placement and coordinate the student’s start date.

  • Families who prefer face-to-face assistance may complete the enrollment process at a designated school or district office. Bring all required documents and a valid photo identification to your appointment. Staff members will help review your paperwork, answer questions, and guide you through any remaining enrollment steps.

  • Our enrollment team is available to assist with applications, documentation, school assignments, online account access, and other registration questions. Whether you are new to the district or enrolling another child, knowledgeable staff can provide personalized guidance and connect your family with the appropriate programs, services, and resources.
